Melissa is returning to the studio to start work on a new album this month!!

I am very excited to report that Melissa Etheridge, lesbian rocker, gay marriage advocate and mother of 4, is teaming up with former bandmate and co-producer of her album “Breakdown”, John Shanks for her upcoming album. Recording is set to begin in this month. No release date has been determined at this point.

Melissa is currently on a small "Live and Alone" tour through the summer. She has been performing a few new tunes, "Indiana", which we can only assume is inspired from the life of her wife Tammy Lynn (Michaels) Etheridge. The other new tune is called "Away".
